Detailed Description:

Experience the jewel of the valley by hiking into the back-country with your fly fishing tackle. Weather it be a high mountain stream or lake, take the time and put in the effort to see what it is like to get away from the crowds, witness unsurpassed beauty and catch & release spectacular high country fish. A few of our guides specialize in sharing these experiences with you. The overall experience cannot be beat.

There is still lots of snow north and west of town and at higher elevations however a few of our backcountry streams are fishable.

Spring Creek, Willow Creek, Red Mountain Creek, Pieplant Creek and the Upper Taylor are a decent color and fishable. Worms and larger stonefly patterns are effective.
