Guide Experience: 4 years

Fishing Experience: Started fly fishing when I was 8 years old. Grew up fishing smallmouth and largemouth bass and eventually got into chasing carp on the fly. Spent a lot of time during winters in northern Ohio going after steelhead. Lived on Ocracoke Island for a couple months and got a taste of salt water fly fishing and been all around out west fishing trout!

Hobbies: skiing, surfing, fishing and hiking with my dog Nita.

Favorite Thing About Guiding: In this profession there’s so many things to love and be thankful for but if I had to choose one thing it would be teaching kids how to fly fish. Being able to show them something they have never done before and seeing the progression. By the end of the day watching how much they’ve learned and putting everything together and being able to share my love for fly fishing with the younger generation.
